Notice of Temporary Service Interruption

Due to the year-end and New Year holidays in Japan, as well as the extended holidays of our logistics partners,
we will suspend shipping operations during the following period: -

Stock Availability & Restocking
・Inventory is shared between our physical store in OSAKA and multiple online shops, so availability may change depending on timing.
・Please note that we do not have plans to restock items that are currently sold out.

・All products sold on our website are genuine.
・They are sourced through official Japanese authorized distributors.
Ordering Products Not Listed on the Website
We do not accept special orders for products that are not listed on our website.
Restocking and Pre-Orders for Sold-Out Items
・In most cases, sold-out items will not be restocked, and we do not accept reservations.
Item Holding or Reservation
・We do not offer item holding or reservation services.
Size and Color Changes for Jacket & Pants Sets
・Jacket and pants sets are sold only as shown on the website.
・Size or color combinations cannot be changed.
Do I need to wax my skis before skiing?
・You can ski without waxing, but applying wax is recommended for better performance.
・Skis without wax may feel harder to turn and slower, especially for beginners.
・For beginners especially, regular waxing helps improve control and overall skiing comfort.
※ Wax products cannot be shipped internationally due to customs regulations.
※ Wax products are available for domestic shipments within Japan only.
Binding Mounting & Adjustment
・When skis and bindings are purchased as a set, we will mount and adjust the bindings before shipping.
・Please enter your boot brand, sole length(in both cm and mm), skill level, and body weight in the order comments.
※ If only the boot sole length is provided, the binding center position may vary depending on the boot manufacturer. As a result, the boot center and ski center may not align perfectly.
・Mounting and adjustment are performed in accordance with ISO 11088 standards.
※ If bindings are mounted or adjusted by the customer, we cannot provide warranty coverage,
even if the product is still within the warranty period.
Condition of Skis at the Time of Delivery
<For Overseas Manufacturers>
・Skis from overseas manufacturers are delivered in factory condition and are generally not waxed.
・Skis are transported to Japan by sea freight, during which high temperature and humidity conditions may occur.
As a result, the ski base may not be perfectly flat, or small rust spots may appear on the edges.
※ Small scratches, uneven finishes, or minor stains may also be found on the top sheet or bindings.
※ If the manufacturer does not consider these conditions to be defects,
we are unable to accept exchanges or replacements.
※ Some athlete-model skis from brands such as ATOMIC and SALOMON may have handwritten numbers on the tail section. ※ These numbers indicate the ski’s flex rating (e.g., 33/25 01 or 40/33 05). ※ These flex numbers are used by athletes to select skis at the manufacturer level. ※ Flex selection is not available in Japan, and customers cannot request specific flex values.
<For Domestic Manufacturers>
・Skis from OGASAKA are delivered with first tuning already completed by the manufacturer.

・For international shipments, we offer delivery via DHL, EMS, and SF Express.
・For domestic shipments within Japan, we use Yamato Transport.

・Orders are shipped from TANABE SPORTS every Monday and Thursday.
・Delivery times may vary depending on the destination and shipping method.

・Shipping fees vary depending on the delivery company and destination.
・Please refer to each carrier for detailed fee information.

※ For international shipments, customs duties or import taxes may apply.

※ For DHL shipments, additional charges such as remote area fees and a 27% fuel surcharge may apply if the destination is classified as a remote area by DHL.
※ For skis longer than 145 cm, we will contact you separately with additional shipping details.
Domestic Shipping Fees (Japan)
・For domestic shipments within Japan, shipping is free for orders totaling 5,000 JPY or more.
For orders under 5,000 JPY, shipping fees will apply based on Yamato Transport’s rate table.
※ Shipping fees may vary depending on the size and weight of the package.
Tracking Information
・Once your package has been shipped, we will send you an email with a tracking number.
Delivery Delays
・Delivery may be delayed due to weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances.
Shipping to Accommodations in Japan
・Orders for delivery to hotels or accommodations in Japan can be placed from one week prior to your arrival date.
※ Orders placed more than one week in advance will be automatically canceled.
Required Information:
To ensure accurate delivery, please provide the following information:
・Accommodation name
・Accommodation phone number
・Reservation number
・Name of the person who made the reservation
・Check-in and check-out dates
※ This information is required to avoid misdelivery, especially in cases where the accommodation has multiple buildings or departments.
Shipping to Airports in Japan
Shipping to domestic airports is subject to specific delivery rules and date restrictions.
Flight information will be required, and we may contact you for confirmation.
※ We recommend shipping to your hotel or accommodation instead of an airport whenever possible.
Holiday Delivery Schedule
Delivery services in Japan may be suspended or delayed during national holidays and long vacation periods.
Major holiday periods include:

Golden Week: late April – early May
Obon Holiday: mid-August
