These 8-base sunglasses were developed for fishing. Until now, fishing sunglasses with a base larger than 8 have had to be discontinued in Japan due to fit issues, but the new nose structure makes it possible to offer them in an Asian fit. This also makes ChromaPop Glass polarized photochromic lenses available in Japan for the first time. The new nose structure not only improves fit, but also solves the problem of nose rubber aging, which is unavoidable during water activities.
