A reliable probe for professionals and advanced users. Laser engraved depth scale. It's short and easy to store in your bag.

This year's updated BCA probe features a large scale that allows you to easily check depth when conducting a rescue or observing snow conditions. Professional aluminum model is laser engraved to prevent wear. BCA's Stealth Quick Lock hardware folds down into a smaller package, eliminating the possibility of a cable coming loose and hitting your face with the probe while you're working hard. The probe has snow depth highlighted in orange: 1.5m (for coarse probing), 2.5m (for precise probing), and even deeper to warn you that the bottom of the snow cover is approaching.

BCA probes form a tight bundle when disassembled and tapered joints allow for quick reassembly.

There are two sizes of depth measuring rulers. It is displayed in 5cn increments on one side (for distress searches) and in 1cm increments on the other side (for recognizing snow conditions).
